Warren Shute began his career in financial services in 1995 at just 21 years old and has been passionate about the profession ever since. Today, he is a Chartered and Certified Financial Planner and Managing Director of Lexington Wealth Management — a firm recognised among the UK’s leading financial planning businesses.

Lexington delivers truly personalised financial planning, coaching, estate planning, and investment management, all under its guiding principle: helping clients live life by design, not by default.

With a Master’s in Financial Planning and Business from Manchester Met Business School, Warren holds Fellowships with both the Personal Finance Society and CISI and has been a Certified Financial Planner™ since 2005.

His work has been widely recognised:

  • Winner of the CISI Certified Financial Planner of the Year (2017)
  • Founder of Lexington’s APG coaching programme, helping financial planners improve the way they deliver life-changing advice
  • Lexington was named a Top 100 Financial Planning Firm by Citywire and won the David Norton Building Excellence Award at the 2019 CISI conference

Warren is a frequent media contributor, appearing on BBC, ITV, and Bloomberg, and writes a weekly column in the Sunday Mirror titled Time to Talk Money. His first book, The Money Plan, became an Amazon #1 bestseller, and he co-host The Finance Geeks podcast with Paul Cleworth.

He is also a passionate advocate for financial education — teaching in schools and workplaces — with two lifelong missions:

To see financial education embedded in the UK school curriculum for every 17–18-year-old

To help 1 million people achieve financial freedom – freedom from the worries of money
