Chris has 30 years experience in retail financial services in the UK, and internationally in Asia and Australia as an IFA, wealth manager, consultant and RegTech founder.
In 2019 Chris launched MO® an AI RegTech and digital audit platform that enables firms to self audit and automate compliance activity across audit reports, T&C, client file reviews and compliance document audits plus back-office integration to streamline tailored tasks, alerts, resources and regulatory reports to manage and evidence governance risk and compliance, improving professional practice and lines of defence whilst cutting compliance time and costs as MO®s latest research illustrates.
Chris’s experience has given him an in depth understanding of the Fin/RegTech eco-system and the direction of regulatory and commercial travel. Thomson Reuters ranked Chris in their UK top 30 influential thought leaders with MO® also voted in the UK’s top 50 RegTech firms by ING and gained Schroders platform runner up award in best industry technology category 2021 and Professional Adviser best technology award 2024, Best Consumer Duty Initiatve 2025, whilst also gaining highly commended in Financial Services Forum AI application, Money Marketing and Schroders Platform leading tech award categories.
Chris is a Chartered member of The Chartered Management Institute and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute for Secrurities and Investments, an elected member on the CISI Compliance Forum Committee and holds an Msc in Organisational Behaviour.
